This stunning example is not only totally white and radiant, it’s also very frosty. It looks as fresh as the day it left the Carson City Mint. And its surfaces haven’t received too much contact with other coins on its long journey to the 21st century.

In fact, the obverse shows only a very light arc of luster breaks from the P in PLURIBUS down to the tip of Ms. Liberty’s chin in the left fields. A few trivial abrasions are visible on the reverse, mostly in the fields on either side of the eagle.

Overall, this is a blazing example of this popular date in the Carson City GSA dollar series.
