This is a pleasing practically all-white example of the scarcer of the two subtypes produced in the dime series at the Carson City Mint in 1875. Details are bold and the luster is bright. A die crack runs diagonally through CA in AMERICA on the obverse. The reverse displays more contact marks than does the obverse, which is probably why the graders at NGC assigned this coin an MS-63 rating instead of calling it MS-64. Still, it’s a desirable piece with great eye appeal for the grade.
