Very desirable date from the "CC" gold eagle series. It  exhibits pleasing eye appeal, and the surfaces glow with a light golden-yellow color. The strike is exceptionally bold. There are scattered contact marks and light hairlines visible across both sides, providing evidence that this coin circulated for a brief period of time. Overall, it possesses many positive characteristics and few detractions.
