A lustrous example of the key date to a ser of GSA “CC” silver dollars. The surfaces are silvery white and the strike is needle-point sharp. There are numerous scattered ticks visible, mostly on the obverse in the vicinity of the left side of Liberty’s face. None of these marks can be considered detractive, however, and we have seen MS-63 examples with similar quantities of abrasions. There is one toning spot visible at the center of the eagle’s left (facing) wing on the reverse. Overall the reverse grades a solid MS-64 and the coin in general is an MS-62+.
