This Uncirculated “CC” Morgan has a few minor abrasions, one of which is in the field, just below Ms. Liberty’s chin. Splashes of auburn-brown-colored toning, however, make this small scratch barely noticeable. The reverse has pumpkin-orange, fire-red, and wheat-yellow coloring in a crescent pattern, giving the appearance of a pleasant sunset around the right periphery. This common-date “CC” dollar is a great find for those looking for more interesting toning characteristics.
