VAM 4 Tail Bar

The first thing you’ll notice on this “CC” Morgan dollar is the trace of wear on Ms. Liberty’s high points. This is because these signs of circulation have a beige-brown patination covering them. The obverse has a moderate number of contact marks and a few scattered hairlines. The most noticeable abrasion is on the bridge of Ms. Liberty’s nose. The reverse has less wear, and the Tail Bar is clearly visible, designating the variety type. Altogether, an excellent coin for someone looking for a circulated example of this popular VAM variety.
