An attractively contrasted black-and-white cameo example of this popular “CC” Morgan silver dollar date. Ms. Liberty’s portrait is snowy-white and the surrounding fields are like glassy mirrors. The reverse eagle and surrounding wreath display a similar effect.

Contact marks are prevalent on this piece, mostly on the obverse, but not too distractive. A small dark spot is visible on Ms. Liberty’s lower jaw area. Overall, this is a stunning example that would benefit greatly from one of NGC’s new “Scratch-Resistant Edge View” holders.
