You couldn’t ask for a better looking example of this date in this grade. The surfaces are so original, and if the coin is tilted just right, you can see some luster peeking though the light layer of grime. Every letter in LIBERTY is sharp and the motto scroll on the reverse is bold. There aren’t any detracting marks on the coin, just a few scattered ticks and small scratches, and a handful of dark spots. This piece will fit nicely into any mid-grade-range, circulated set of “CC” halves.
