This piece is a tough one to price. It's got the look of an AU-53 coin, with white lustrous surfaces. But, there's moderate wear visible on the eagle's left wing, on the eagle's head, and on the right sight of the eagle's right wing. Still, this coin looks so much nicer than any other example graded XF-45, it's impossible to classify it in this grade category. One negative factor that's difficult to account for is the light cleaning this coin received some time in the distant past (maybe even from its previous owner, the late Dr. Fred Anderson from Reno).
