At 10 points on the condition rating scale, this twenty-center offers much to the Carson City collector not in need of the high-end alternatives. On the obverse, much of the detail is worn down, leaving no letters in LIBERTY visible, and hardly any of the folds in Ms. Liberty’s gown. Flipping the coin over, you’re immediately drawn to the light grayish-brown stain covering the middle letters in UNITED STATES. Small contact marks are generously scattered on both sides of this piece, but nothing more than you would expect for the VG-10 grade. Please note that smudges over the mintmark are on the PCGS holder.
