A pleasing low-grade example of this elusive date Large cent. The surfaces are a deep, mocha-brown color, with shades of rusty-crimson blended in. The details on the high points are well defined. The fields display typical pock-marking seen on 200-plus-year-old copper coins. A few small crevices are visible, one in particular behind Ms. Liberty’s forehead. The rims are full, there are no detracting abrasions, and the coin exudes originality.
