This is a lovely, milk-chocolate-brown-colored example of the “Corrected Fraction” variety of this date. The lower 1 in the bottom of the fraction clearly overlays the first 0. The first stage of a rim break is visible around the reverse rim above OF and extending over AME in AMERICA.
The details are very sharp for a VF specimen and there are traces of luster on sections of the coin. The planchet is smooth, with no signs of porosity, and contact marks are kept to a minimum.
