As you’ll see in most commemoratives, this Rhode Island half displays peripheral toning, along with a cream-colored haze that encircles the obverse. On the obverse, the strike is bold, but minute contact marks can be noted on the Indian’s legs. The reverse is a satiny silver color, which seems to accent all the raised devices against the fields. Overall, this Denver-Mint commemorative is very pleasing.
