If this Elgin weren’t already encapsulated as an MS-65 by NGC, most novice collectors wouldn’t believe it was Uncirculated, due to its incredibly soft strike. Details on both sides seem somewhat fuzzy, as is typical for this issue. The obverse displays lavender and baby-green patina, while the reverse is more sandy in color. A nice example of an Elgin.
