Although it scores only 25 points on the condition rating scale, this Liberty Seated dime has much eye appeal due to its peripheral toning. Shades of turquoise, green, yellow, and orange are visible on the obverse, but no similar colors are found on the reverse, only splotches of steel-grey patina. Most wear is apparent on Ms. Liberty, where little detail remains on her gown and face. A milky-beige color veils both sides, and there appears to be a fingerprint, as well as a dark spot on the obverse near the center. All in all, this coin displays a spectrum of colors that any collector who appreciates originality will enjoy.
