At only 15.5 mm in diameter, this half dime is overflowing with character. Both sides are veiled in mesmerizing vivid patina, boasting shades of iridescent pinks, oranges, greens, burgundies, and electrifying blues. Luster shines through the coloring, giving off a chameleon-like effect similar to an Alexandrite gem. At AU-58, very few signs of wear are evident, and hardly any are apparent to the naked eye. On the reverse, the devices are well contrasted against the fields. Overall, this little gem is an incredibly pleasing example for the color-minded half-dime collector.
