This early 19th Century half dime has an array of colors surrounding the portrait, making Ms. Liberty stand out boldly and beautifully. While there’s a light touch of toning on her face, she’s mostly lustrous-white. The eagle is set off by the spectrum of colors surrounding the reverse periphery as well. For those who enjoy the Capped Bust coins, and like a little color, they’ll be delighted by this little gem.
