The surfaces are mostly light, grayish-brown with patches of turquoise blended in. The details are relatively sharp around the peripheries on both sides with noticeable weakness near Stars 10 – 12 on the right side of the obverse. Strands of Liberty’s hair are visible from the side to the back of her head, but the rest of the portrait is mostly flat. The eagle on the reverse is totally flat. Overall, this desirable 18th-century piece offers about as much as you could hope for this grade.
