At first glance, all you see on this Franklin half dollar are dark shades of speckled-auburn toning around the obverse peripheries. However, after closer examination under an appropriate light, attractive shades of deep violet, turquoise, and emerald-greens are visible in the patina, which adds much more appeal to the coin. Beneath the color is a well-struck specimen, with minimal marks and one that is well deserving of the Full Bell Lines designation.
