Reverse Mintmark Variety

A very choice MS-63 example of this pivotal date in the series. The surfaces beam with luster, and except for light whiffs of beige haze, they are all white. The strike is sharp, enabling easy viewing of the separation of thumb and hand next to Ms. Liberty’s waist. Contact marks are minimal and if you strain you can detect a few light hairlines.

The piece is obviously a desirable alternative to many of the darkly toned or washed-out examples of this date also designated as MS-63.
