Reverse Mintmark Variety

This is a mostly white and totally lustrous example of this semi-key date in this popular series. It has a translucent layer of beige-colored haze veiling sections of the obverse. The reverse is practically crystal clear. The strike is as bold as it gets on this date, which is another positive factor in the coin’s condition rating. A few wispy contact marks and light hairlines in the right obverse fields are all that keep this precious little piece from the MS-64 grade. You’ll wish all your MS-63-grade early Walkers possessed this coin’s qualities.
