The surfaces of this coin possess a light golden tint, but the luster is not lacking. This little gem was sharply struck and contact marks are barely visible. There is a small patch of granular surfaces visible next to the Indian's eye. This is due to a rusted die used to make this nickel. Still, an appealing example of the popular Buffalo design.
