Even at just 63 points on the condition rating scale, PCGS still awarded this example with the “Full Head” designation. The obverse is a dusty-ecru in color. Although details aren’t as readily apparent as you would see on higher-grade FH examples, Ms. Liberty’s essential head features are clearly visible, the area around the ear is slightly weak due to the strike. Dark brown toning weaves through the reed-and-bead edging. On the reverse, the color is more silvery than tan. Hairlines are visible in the fields, but nothing more than you would expect for the grade. Overall, this piece has a lot to offer.
