A sparkling example of this scarce “S”–Mint quarter, with a light straw-colored tint, and subtle shades of blue and purple embedded in the recessed areas. The Full-Head details are sharp, except at the center of the ear hole, and on the lower left rim of the shield. Contact marks are at a minimum, with just two small ticks visible on the shield, and a light abrasion in the lower left reverse field. The numerals in the date are boldly struck. A very premium quality of this semi-key date.
