From arm’s length, you can’t tell this coin deserves 58 points on the condition rating scale. The obverse is shrouded in a dark, brown-grey patina. The strike is bold, with Ms. Liberty showing much detail. On the reverse, the toning is not as intense, and the color is much closer to a steel-grey. The fields are somewhat reflective, but grime resides in the crevices. Wear on the high points is evident. This is a low-end coin for the grade.
