The New Year took off at Southgate Coins full force. Busy with clients, breaking news of the upcoming sale of the historic Battleborn collection, the ever-changing bullion market, yet another devastating wild fire, and school starting back up, January has been anything but slow! We even finally experienced a few days with snow and much needed rain, and of course, it wouldn’t be Reno if we didn’t have temperatures in the 60s immediately after, haha.

With much enthusiasm to get 2012 underway, Southgate Coins never fails to remember our favorite traditions—especially Free Lunch Fridays. Below are the four restaurants Rusty, Marie, Maya, and Nicole enjoyed for the month of January:

• Q’Doba – Fresh Mexican food with unique flavors, their huge burritos leave our bellies full and even some left over for later!
• Panda Express – Orange chicken, black peppered chicken, fried rice, and veggie spring rolls are savory favorites amongst the crew at Southgate.
• Brugo’s Pizza – Pizza has always been an all-time favorite, and Brugo’s never disappoints with their tasty garlic sauce and generous amounts of cheese on every pizza!
• Olive Garden – Italian-American cuisine at its best, Maya and I (Nicole) practically squeal with delight every time Marie tells us we’ll be enjoying it for our anticipated Friday lunch.

Free Lunch Fridays are not only amazing because of the delicious meals but also because it allows us time to catch up with each other on a more personal level, sharing laughs and entertaining stories from the week. We get to enjoy all this while Rusty kindly takes care of the store for us, so we can enjoy our “girl-time” together, uninterrupted. Don’t worry—he eventually gets fed too, haha! Thank you Rusty and Marie so much for your big hearts and always making us girls feel appreciated.
