Estate Liquidations

We buy Your Gold and Silver, Rare Coins, Carson City
Coins, Morgan Silver Dollars, and Other Collectibles

DO YOU HAVE U.S. COINS OR PAPER MONEY THAT YOU WANT TO SELL?

Please email or write. We'll be happy to evaluate your coins and make you an offer. We are BUYERS. We make fair offers locally and nationally. If you have Carson City coins, you need to contact us. We are the strongest buyers of Carson City coins in the country, especially the gold and the Liberty Seated issues.

Give us a description of what you have, and our staff will guide you through the process. Generally, customers send their collections Registered/Insured through the U.S. Post Office. In some cases, collections are shipped USPS Express Mail, using Southgate Coins's account number and insurance (Lloyds of London).

After your collection is appraised, you will be notified of the value, and be given an offer. If you accept the offer, a company check will be sent to you. Bank wires are also available. If you choose not to accept our offer, your collection will be promptly shipped back to you, via USPS Priority or Registered/Insured mail. If the collection warrants, and you request, our coin expert/appraiser can meet with you at your home or bank. More details can be provided when you contact us.

Because we no longer have a brick and mortar retail store, we will only consider making offers on individual U.S. coins or pieces of U.S. paper money that have minimum values of $1,500. Collections must have an aggregate minimum value of $7,500. We will assist you with the liquidation of gold, silver, and platinum bullion if bullion is included in your coin collection.

If you are not sure what your collection is worth, please catalog the items, and contact us so we may assist you in determining their approximate values, and whether or not we would be able to help you liquidate them.
